One day in e2i campus, I had a chance to speak to a mature worker who was attending a course conducted by a training provider in our campus. From our conversation, I knew that he was attending a course that was not related to his current job. He shared with me that he took up the course at his own accord to prepare himself for a possible career switch, in case he would be retrenched when the economy worsens.
I am of the thinking that if everybody could have an open mindset like him, willing to learn a new skill regardless of his or her age and always be prepared to accept new job and environment, we will be less stressful in facing the challenge of the current economic uncertainty.
“Success favors prepared minds!”
