Union Training Assistance Programme
U-TAP stands for Union Training Assistance Programme. It draws on the NTUC Education & Training Fund (NETF) to support courses relevant to the employability of all Collars, Ages and Nationalities (CAN). Union members who attend U-TAP approved courses will be eligible for training benefit of up to $250 per year to defray their cost of training.
The following courses are recently approved for support under UTAP and more courses will be added to the list soon.

2. Overview
The OG pre-school training course is specially designed by Ron Yoshimoto for pre-school and kindergarten teachers who wish to use the Orton-Gillingham approach in the literacy component of their pre-school curriculum. This programme is specially written for Singapore pre-schools and kindergartens who wish to introduce a programme to cater to all children, even those with literacy difficulties.
3. Target Group
In-employment preschool teachers
4. Eligibility Criteria
i. In-employment preschool teachers
ii. With min 2 years work experience
iii. Singaporeans and Singapore PRs only
iv. English 'O' level C6 OR WPL (Reading 4, Listening 4) OR IELTS 5.5
(*However there can be exception cases accepted on case by case basis by e2i)
5. Course Duration
5 days , 40 classroom hours
6. Course fees
i. $2500 (For non-union members)
ii. $2350 (For union members)
7. Grant
50% course fees support = $1,250 (For non-union members) or $1,175 (For union members)
8. Application procedure
i. Submit COG enrolment and apply via training provider
ii. Submit application at e2i Referral Centre

Franchising and Licensing Association Singapore (FLA)
2. Overview
The Franchising & Licensing Association (FLA) of Singapore is developing and enhancing the professionalism of this industry. In partnership with the Institute of Certified Franchise Executives in USA, FLA launched the Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) program. It is aimed at training and equipping PMETs in franchise operations, franchise agreement, international franchise development etc to support the growing industry with a pool of qualified professionals.
3. Target Group
GCE A Level/Diploma with 3 years of work experience
4. Eligibility Criteria
i. Gainfully employed
ii. GCE A Level/Diploma with 3 years of work experience
iii. Singaporeans and Singapore PRs only
5. Course Duration
2 years, approximately 100 hours
6. Course fees
S$4,500 (S-Dip) or S$5,500 (new entrants)
* excluding GST, exam fees etc before government subsidy
7. Grant
50% course fees support = $2,250 (S-Dip) or $2,750 (new entrants)
8. Application procedure
