- Members below 40 years old can receive up to $250 per year
- Members aged 40 years and above can receive up to $500 per year.
NTUC Starter members (aged between 18 to 25 years old) can enjoy course fee support of $200 per year under UTAP-Lite.

How to submit UTAP Claim?
Step 1: Check for
(a) UTAP supported course or
(b) eligible AI tool
Step 2: Register for course with training provider and attend training. For course information and enrolment, please contact the training provider. For AI tool claims, the subscription must be taken up within one year after completion of a UTAP‑approved AI course, with the subscription start date falling between 1 May 2026 and 30 April 2028.
Step 3: Log in with Singpass and submit your UTAP claim within 6 months after
(a) course completion; or
(b) the start date of your AI tool subscription. Late claims will be rejected.
How much UTAP support is available?
NTUC members enjoy 50% unfunded course fee support for approved training courses and assessments, subject to annual caps.
*New* from 1 May 2026 to 30 April 2028, NTUC members can also enjoy subscription fee support for selected AI tools.
In summary,
- Members below 40 years old can receive 50% unfunded course and/or AI tool subscription fee support, up to $250 per year*
- Members aged 40 years and above can receive 50% unfunded course and/or AI tool subscription fee
*UTAP caps per year apply across all supported components, including training courses, assessments and selected AI
tool subscriptions.

Eligibility Criteria
- NTUC members must commence the course or complete the standalone assessment within the UTAP-approved period, as indicated under the list of UTAP-supported courses.
- NTUC members must submit either a certificate of completion of training and assessment or training attendance sheets showing at least 75% attendance for the course(s) and sit for all prescribed examination(s) if any.
- NTUC members must submit claims via the UTAP system within 6 months after completing the course/ assessment
- NTUC members must not claim full funding from company sponsorships or other types of funding.
- NTUC members must have paid-up NTUC membership before course/ assessment commencement, throughout the entire course/ assessment duration and at the point of claim.
