Career Conversion Programme
Career Conversion Programme
Benefits of CCPs
Companies in Singapore can tap on CCPs to reskill mid-career jobseekers or existing employees. Long-term unemployed or mature jobseekers aged 40 and above are eligible for higher funding support. e2i offers CCPs in various sectors to support companies in reskilling mid-career individuals to take on new job roles with good longer-term prospects and opportunities.
Modes of CCPs:
- Place-and-Train: companies hire jobseekers and put the individuals through on-the-job training (OJT) or industry-recognised training to take on a new growth job role
- Train-and-Place (with Commitment To Hire): companies equip candidates with job-specific skills and guarantee employment upon successful completion
Eligibility Criteria
The participating company must fulfil the following criteria:
- Registered or incorporated in Singapore.
- Must be able to offer an employment contract* on permanent terms or on contract terms that are no less than one (1) year, directly related to the job which the CCP is for, with remuneration that is commensurate with the market rate. The company must not receive other government funding for the same funding components supported under the programme.
- Commit to the CCP training arrangements for the mid-career individuals that they have selected for the conversion programme.
- Be committed to work with e2i on the necessary administrative matters related to the programmes.
* With effect from 1 April 2025, companies participating in CCPs may offer either full-time or flexi-load working arrangements (e.g. part-time employment) and qualify for CCP support
