Career Conversion Programme

Career Conversion Programme

Employment and Employability Institute (e2i) is Workforce Singapore (WSG)’s programme partner for Career Conversion Programmes (CCPs). CCPs provide support to employers to broaden their talent pool by reskilling mid-career new hires or existing employees into growth job roles with good longer-term prospects and opportunities for progression.

Benefits of CCPs

Companies in Singapore can tap on CCPs to reskill mid-career jobseekers or existing employees. Long-term unemployed or mature jobseekers aged 40 and above are eligible for higher funding support. e2i offers CCPs in various sectors to support companies in reskilling mid-career individuals to take on new job roles with good longer-term prospects and opportunities.

Modes of CCPs:

  1. Place-and-Train: companies hire jobseekers and put the individuals through on-the-job training (OJT) or industry-recognised training to take on a new growth job role
  2. Train-and-Place (with Commitment To Hire): companies equip candidates with job-specific skills and guarantee employment upon successful completion
Growth job roles are emerging or good job opportunities with long-term prospects for progression, identified in each sector in response to how the industry is expected to transform over time. For more information on CCPs, download the FAQ
