Ms Rita Lau has held leadership roles across various organizations. Since April 2012, she has been with the Singapore Labour Foundation, where she currently serves as Deputy Chief Executive Officer. Before this, she was Chiet Corporate Officer from April 2016 to December 2024 and Director of Corporate Planning & Development from April 2012 to March 2016.
Prior to joining the Singapore Labour Foundation, she was Director of Administration for the Faculty of Science at the National University of Singapore from October 2010 to April 2012.
Between 1999 and 2010, she held several corporate planning and finance positions at CapitaLand Limited, advancing from Senior Manager to Senior Vice President across different divisions.
Prior to joining CapitaLand, Rita was an Assistant Vice President at Banque Nationale de Paris.
She started her career as a Senior Project Officer at the Auditor-General’s Office.
Rita holds an MBA (Distinction) from Imperial College and a B.Sc (Honours) from the National University of Singapore.
